His familiar died early in Season 1.

I don't think she gets paid twice. But if she has more roles, would it not make sense to get more pay for doing more work? I'm not suggesting that she gets paid double or triple of what she once got, just that more work should mean higher pay.

I believe that Petrova is the last name of the original person (or if she kept her maiden name, than it would be the last name of the husband) that Katerina (Katherine) and Elena are doppelgangers of. Remember that Katerina herself had the last name Petrova (before she changed her name to Katherine Pierce).

Correct. Just remember hybrids have been shown to still be weak to vervain (Ray Sutton and Tyler Lockwood), and most likely wolfsbane as well since it is also a herb like vervain.

1 - Klaus is only a half-sibling to Elijah/Rebekah and they do not share the same father. Klaus' father was murdered by Elijah/Rebekah's father long ago. Also, I really do believe that TVD writers would have Rebekah call Mikael 'father', if he was indeed her father. I think it would be a poor use of writing to wait

Elena has not been ingesting vervain. That is why she could be compelled by Damon and Elijah with the necklace off. It was Stefan and Damon who had been ingesting small amounts of vervain in Season 2 to gain some resistance to it like Katherine had. Her insides had complete resistance, but her skin would still burn on

He didn't turn into a bird. He had a familiar.

These marvel adaptations are just no good. If you want to watch a real anime with some actual depth, try Eve no Jikan Gekijouban (Time of Eve: The Movie). It is a sci-fi anime that deals with  android sentience and how some react to them.

Wrong. Not the first time they've gone to school since early Season 1.

It's a big deal because he killed one of his supposed friends. If you real life friend killed you even though he knew that you would come back, would you be happy about it? I certainly wouldn't.

Exactly. Elena had John's life bound to hers. So, she could die once and still be alive. She technically died, but John's life force pretty much acted as an extra life, so that once she died/John's life force was depleted, she could use her own life force.

And even if he doesn't, he will be back in the flashback episode "Ordinary People." Here's to hoping that he does come back though. Elijah still has the most brutal kill on TVD with his disposal of Trevor.

I approve of Cory.

I agree. Bonnie is seriously being misused as a character, and is the weakest link among the whole cast. Even a killed off character from last season is more developed and interesting. It will be nice to see how the writers explain how all ghosts can suddenly be tangible. I imagine Mason being furious and having tried

I really don't like the writing or the acting on this show. The Vampire Diaries and Nikita toss this show in the trash any day of the week.

Elena didn't truly die, because she drained away John's life force. I believe that the ring has a 'memory' of your state and restores your position before you lost your life due to supernatural entities. Remember that when Matt died, his soul left his body. I think the ring forcibly keeps your soul in your body, and

I see this too. Matt and Bonnie have more chemistry in one scene than Jeremy and Bonnie have had since pretty much forever. I feel like Anna is the only one with any significant chemistry with Jeremy.

Elijah defines awesomeness and needs to come back ASAP. Rebekah has pretty much been treated like trash by Klaus, so I hope she gains some backbone and will at least revive one of the Originals (*cough* Elijah please) like you have said.

Ahh, you are probably right. Elena is what kept him from becoming a full blown ripper, and then Klaus compelled him to ditch his humanity. I can't believe that I could not remember that since that was such an important moment.

Carrie, you mentioned that Stefan is now truly evil, but I am not sure that is the case. I think Klaus just maxed out his addiction to blood, meaning he will pounce more readily with slight hints of blood, even Elena's.
