Tchai-Ovna. I should have expected only so much from Glasgow A.V Clubbers. Away to Stereo and have a vegan sausage why don't you?!

Danny Boyle does deserve a lot of credit for Trainspotting, but we really shouldn't forget than John Hodge read the screenplay. I didn't realise how amazing a job he did until I read the book later in life. Holy fuck, I wouldn't know where to start adapting that.

Awkward Situations For Men
is not really a British import. Our tv may be often awful, but I think we'd know better than to commission a sitcom starring Danny bloody Wallace. Wouldn't we?

No!
The screen isn't on the side of the van - it's inside with all the seats, you fools.

Ghostwatch
Did anyone see Ghostwatch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wik… when it aired in the UK in '92. I must have been 9 and it freaked me the fuck out.
It looks like shit now of course but when you're 9 and Sarah Green and Michael Parkinson are telling you that something's real then you believe it!

You forgot Film4 and 4Music

I have some sort of promo VHS of this at home. Annie Griffin of course went on to write the similarly underrated The Book Group and Festival.
