Yes. Perfume is a crazy, intense fantasy left intact. I think this one turned out exactly as the director intended.
I kind of remember the same thing and being pretty sad that the nice man had his body taken over.
Saw this at five years old
God knows why. My dad was pretty protective of me as far as movies go. Fast forwarding through sex scenes. Not letting me go see most PG-13 movies at the theater until I was 13. But he took me to this one. Must have been the George Lucas imprimatur.
I'd just to like to add…
Marvel Comics already created a Spider Woman and there was a Shrek infant in "Shrek 3." So these gags aren't even unfunny spins on existing material. They are instead unfunny retreads. They're not even spoofing anymore. Just stealing.
I wish Will Smith had recorded a theme song
Maybe using a sample from "Saturday Night" by the Bay City Rollers.
Poor band name
A Springfield, IL band:
Oh man, oh man, oh man
I hated, hated, hated this movie.
Not to be confused with…
Queen Latifah's "Last Holiday" which came out last year about this time.
New music listening
It's become the sport of the rich or those who don't mind breaking the law on a regular basis.
Nathan is wrong
"Idiocracy" is amusing, but one of the best of last year? Too sloppy a film for that honor.
I found "Dead" to be very good. Fascinating at times with some beautiful moments. Thought it was a fine movie.

I am the only one…
who hasn't enjoyed a single Guy Ritchie movie? All flash and no substance.
Oops
Sally Forth has be the smuggest, must annoying character in all of comic-dom. That strip effing infuriates me.
Cleaning products
What's Oprah gonna do with a basketful? Stare at them?
Little seen but worth noting
"Syndromes and a Century." Staggered releasing meant released in 2006 in some markets, 2007 most everywhere else. Fascinating and beautiful film from Thailand. Will likely make my top five. Add to your Netflix queue and give it a look.
