Your list is almost the same exact as mine except I would replace Enlightened with 30 Rock. Is Enlightened really any good? I watched the first 10 mins and was put off by how awful I found everything.

I think they just want to go home but the rest of the Muppets keep them there as their slaves. So by constantly hating on whatever show they are putting on they hope to be freed from their captivity, either through being allowed to go home or the sweet freedom that death brings
