first 2 episodes of what season? there's a bit of an arc to the characters, and the show is kinda serialised-very serialised, actually. The deeper you know the characters, the harder the situations they find themselves hit home, and the laughs are bigger.

He was thinking of those people who come to your house/place of work and sing Happy Birthday, or whatever, live and direct. He doesn't know about the electronic greetings cards. He's never seen one, sent one or received one. He probably worked as a singing greeting card himself for a while, or knows someone who did.…
