Dream Sequence
When Brad (?) stepped from the shower at the top of the show it was shocking how squat and muscular he looked-but then it makes sense 'cos that's his dream version of himself. No wonder he's got the self-confidence to just take the floor at the UN's weekend get-together and start running the show.

'On Chesil Beach' has some fine, and often very funny in that 'comedy-of-embarassment' way, writing. It touches on the same themes as the OLD stuff, but in a more distanced, subtler way (he's not rubbing the reader's nose in the cruelty).
