Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how the address concussions and fighting on the show. Rypien and Boogard's deaths this summer (along with Belak, who it sounds like died from hushed up auto-erotic thing) were pretty shocking and this week was probably a PR nightmare for the League. I still don't know what to think

Also disagree. Maybe it's just accepted by the audience, but I can't watch baseball anymore because of how goddamn slow the game moves between pitches.

I gotta say I agree, but there is a colossal disparity between broadcast teams and qualities. Every once and a while I watch a local broadcast or small market game and it's a little embarrassing - the announcers cant keep up with the play, stumble over names, banter during action and the whole broadcast has that weird

Quick Change is great, even if it runs out of gas a bit at the end.

One of these days, someone will have to cover Twitch City.

I've seen it. It is really pretty bad. A "homage" (read: complete steal) of the plot of "Something Wild" that is absolutely no fun, with a ridiculously awful performance from Rossif Sutherland and zero chemistry between the leads. She's ok in it I guess, but one of those movies where no one comes out of it looking

She's really good in Polytechnique.

It's a good movie too.

I know it's not a "rock" doc but Let's Get Lost is pretty great….

Oh, Jam…

Yep, my thoughts exactly. I watched it two nights ago and after about 30 minutes, you begin to feel the shift from "here is an eccentric, but sympathetic woman" to "here is a deluded compulsive liar who has been telling her story for so long that it's become a reality." She reminded me a lot of Fred Leuchter in that

I saw him expecting it to be a shitty cash in and it was unbelievable. His band would be more at home in a Greek restaurant, but he is unbelievably present, charming and all around awesome for a guy in his late 70s.

Indeed. I cant think of a worse song on a better album.

Thanks for these interviews AV CLUB! You're swell!

What kind of chili was it?
Three bean!

I think his argument is that the show wouldn't be as popular without the voice actors and so the comparatively little time they put into the production of the show is essential to it's success. Maybe true, maybe not. In any case, it would be good to have one more season with everyone knowing it's the end - after years

This has to be a coincidence. This season the show has worked so hard to connect everyone with the world of Jesse, Walt and the Pollos gang that at this point, every character is reading anything that happens as a power play. Maybe this is just Brock getting sick or the kid smoking the cigarette - something innocuous
