Always here for Toad The Wet Sprocket.
You seem hesitant…
Neko Case - 'I'm An Animal'
Dorian Wood - 'The Lady'
Two Steps From Hell - 'Calamity (remix)'
Two Steps From Hell - 'Forgotten September'
Eric Zann - 'The Human Chord'
Stereolab - 'Moogie Wonderland'
Jah Wobble - 'Auguries Of Innocence'
VNV Nation - 'Descent'
(which is so horrifyingly timely it's where I stopped the shuffle)
Oh indeed.
Dorian Wood's first album, BOLKA. Tonks hadn't heard it before: great songs, including a diss track to his ex boyfriend (in Bulgarian).
Tonks & I were too knackered to do much, so there's a half-bottle of champers waiting for when we are.
Oh most definitely!
That's just what the gypsy woman said!
After the primitive conditions in Wales at the weekend - draughty composting toilet, literally a hole in the ground with a barn over it - I hooray having a warm shit.
YAY!!
Oh you guys, SO MUCH.
Know who holds the K2 record without oxygen? Aleister Crowley.
Sometimes. If the Flow is there, I can bang stuff out… but getting there is the trick!
Tonks has a cat - Chiana, quarter-Burmese, gorgeous if a but skittish.
I loved that.
Marisha Pessi's 'Night Film': disgraced journalist returns to his investigation of a reclusive movie director after the suicide of the director's daughter. Very solid NYC noir, and she did her occult research better than most (there's a thing with a curse).
nuqneH?
WOTCHER!
He played a secret gig last week in my beloved Treadwell's occult bookshop in London.
In fire.
