On one level, I hope we see more of the outside world for reasons like this (maybe there's really strict NDAs for Guests, but of course nothing is perfect…), but there's also a case for keeping the outside away from the main storyline.

I took the kid as being a Guest, but interesting suggestion.

Considering the possibility that Man In Black is not necessarily raping Dolores (or, as implied, Maeve)… is instead implanting the Violent Delights phrase.

That's a really interesting, and deeply creepy, possibility.
