Someone said this on here the other day but someone has almost certainly done the traditional re-cut of S4 and realised that that makes it even worse.

Yeah, agreed. I don't think Michael and George-Michael were out of character but when Michael in particular doesn't even seem to pretend to want to do right by his son any more, he's just not that pleasant or funny a character to spend that much time with.

I'll definitely watch it but my expectations are lower. I'd like them to wrap up the murder/death mystery in some sort of clever and possiby even satirical way and to cut the episode time down to 25-30 minutes.

Fingers crossed Jeannie has as swift a recovery as possible.

I didn't love "Thin Ice". I didn't think it was terrible, it just wasn't the kind of story that appealed to me.

I'm happy to see anything that's a less familiar story beat but I agree they've done this more with 12 than they did with 10 and 11.
