Being entrenched into any one way of thinking with no room for ambiguity, complexity and changes is just going to make our brains old. Plus I feel like people are looking for answers in the wrong places (namely nostalgia for different non-existent versions of the past). Things have changed and we need some new answers…

Conversely some people on here do occasionally express thoughts that aren't that complex and people argue with them, as tends to happen ;-)
I agree with this. Also I don't think some people who have clear and strong stances on things and view the world through that lens always appreciate that other people have quite shifting and contradictory views that can be influenced by what is happening to the person in their own life, local area and country at any…
And the fact the other is in the Albert Hall is yet another disturbing example of my country's willingness to take and keep artifacts of historical significance from their countries of origin.

I know a lot of it was probably in his facial intonation but is there a chance that was somebody who was talking faster than they were thinking? Although I suppose in that instance as the person who said something ill-considered, you ought to have the decency to backpeddle.
A Scanner Darkly. I'm not enjoying it but it's interesting. I often find this kind of thing very claustrophobic.
