All my knowledge of violence comes from television but to the layperson, a seven stone, tiny woman trying to intervene in a serious fight between two men in the middle of the road seems like a terrible idea ;-)
Yorkshire. But that's still three hours drive away and in any case I am the only person in my department showing up to work at the moment unfortunately (holidays/compassionate leave/heavy meetings schedule).
I might be misunderstanding here but are you really suggesting I should have involved myself in a fight in the road, in a bad area of London, between two men who had a foot of height on me apiece and looked like they weighed probably five to ten stone more than I do?
I would but Edinburgh is five or six hours away from here by train :-(
It could be Disqus…..
I'm sorry Billy and I hope you have a nicer time than you are expecting to.
1) Work is crazy busy and I'm spending a worrying amount of time, not clearing the backlog but jotting down tasks I won't have time to do for at least two weeks.
2) My sister officially moves away tomorrow :-( Also I hope she has a safe journey. She's getting off her night shift and driving there to start her new job.
3)…
Gosh I'm low on these. I saved a decent chunk of my month's pay towards my house. That's about it ;-)
I loved BoJack S3 and I can't wait until all the reviews are up on here.
I made a decent go of cutting down most of last week and then drank too much on either Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
I really need to read Ngaio Marsh.
I have bad luck for being around when other motorists are kicking off at each other. Just last night a motorcyclist was clashing with the car in front of me. The motorcyclist was driving like a complete nutter (too fast, kept switching from one side of this car to the other) and him and the car driver were screaming…
Not when I posted my comment, we didn't ;-)
Is the Sharknado theme song a ballad? I'm imagining it sounds like the theme to The Rural Juror….
So.
If we aren't getting a pop culture weekend post I think we should keep doing it in the comments anyway.
What kind of beads? I'm worried by this, Scrawler, after some of the things I heard about possible banner ads ;-)
Yeah who knows what you would have come up with, had they posted it.
It seems unlikely, especially for writers. Too many people willing to do it for next to nothing or nothing I suspect.
