I love that BoJack isn't doing the trope I call "the arsehole mystique".

If you support the man, at least be honest with yourself about who he is and what he stands for. Trump's said numerous things that make it perfectly clear how he views half America's population (there to be decorative first and foremost basically).
The first word changes the meaning of the second. Like Fundamentalist Christian?
I preferred him as a bitter Spanish teacher.
Has Maria Bamford ever appeared on it?
John Oliver ;-) His name's in the title and the web address.
I love that episode with Britta's trial and the Chang/Duncan rivalry :-)
Meanwhile UKS lost me early in S2. All the characters felt way too broad and wacky. 30 Rock could be like that but Liz and Jack had more grounded moments and there were quieter characters like Pete.
I liked it, I thought it was proof definitively that Rick wasn't a sociopath.
He didn't beat any odds, he inherited a load of valuable property in New York.
From the Guardian re: the shooting:
" Sweetie, Muslims want to drag you out into the street and put a bullet through your head, or worse"
"Meanwhile, the Left hates Donald Trump's guts, but if you met him on the
same street, he'd treat you courteously and take the time to talk, sign
an autograph, take a selfie, you name it."
I love it when his ears perk up (on the show obviously) :-)
I had no idea how many films and tv shows could be made into animal puns until now ;-)
It's pretty bang on as well. The rich and the powerful are well placed to create their own little realities about themselves regardless of truth.
I didn't mind. Coming anywhere close to doing it is ugly enough and I was pleased the show isn't glossing over the whole thing. A lot of shows would have had the episode after deal with it and then they might have dropped it.
I was enjoying the first half of the episode (especially the craziness of the conference call) but my mouth dropped open when Bojack decided to confide in the journalist, of all people about Penny and Charlotte. The levels of self-destruction involved there were pretty epic.
It gets better after the first couple of episodes and it takes time to get used to the weirdness of the world, I think. But to each his/her own. Especially when there's so much to watch in general.
Yay :-) I'm relieved to hear this, I didn't know if episode by episode reviews were continuing for the various Netflix shows.
