It's definitely pretty depressing at that point with a lot of the characters locked into negative behaviour patterns. I find it realistic though.

In the first film Emma must have been told off for mumbling a lot because tons of her lines are massively over-enunciated. I don't agree about the plot of the story though, I remember liking the first book and how it was written. It introduced the world and the key players really well.
Glad you enjoyed S1 of Bojack. I agree the last few episodes are really powerful in S1. Your timing is pretty perfect as well, by the time you finish S2, S3 will be out/nearly out.
I watched another Lady Dynamite episode, "I Love You". I'm still finding that the best parts of the show are the bits set in Duluth. The stuff in the present feels way too broad and wacky. It makes sense to write the past scenes that way because Maria has untreated bipolar depression at that point but it feels like…
"The female equivalent of being a guy who can get a lot of women would be
locking a high-value guy down into a committed relationship."
There's clearly a case to answer.
I'm in the UK, so I don't know how realistic this is, but what are the chances of the police involved facing murder charges?
At least there was Outkast ;-) They can do their own versions of "Ms Jackson"
I liked them too around 15. I think Chocolate Starfish had some good guitar bits and the incoherent rage thing spoke to me because school seemed so endless.
There's too much whiny indie acoustic guitar at the minute.
I like the idea of Kurt Cobain becoming a blues singer. He's not technically the strongest singer of all time or anything but "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" was pretty powerful.
I don't object to the counterpoint but worst song released in the 90s was an incredibly hotly contested field ;-)
Just argue with the arguments ;-)
Jessica Valenti has posted some articles that I find extreme or misguided. But some posters on there don't seem to realise they can counter the arguments without name calling or saying grossly sexist things ;-)
Sadly the referendum result seems to have emboldened racist people to start calling people racial slurs. But it's still a crime under UK law and it came up in parliament that it is a concern so hopefully all parties will work on making it clear that racial discrimination is unacceptable, referendum or not.
I don't remember if they said in the return announcement what he would be covering. We'll just have to keep our eyes peeled :-)
Not me, I didn't manage to go yet :-)
No. I try to use separate names for separate stuff in case I ever upset the wrong person ;-) I liked Marina Hyde's most recent column but it was disappointing to read some of the unconstructive critical comments on both her and Hadley's article. The place has some really unpleasantly sexist people knocking round it.
I'm learning that if your country does something that rocks its overarching laws and both major political parties you don't have time for pop culture. You just spend all your time following online live streams trying to make some sense of what is going on.
