I went to a free music festival. There were a couple of good guitar bands but electric acoustic acts seemed to work best in the smaller venues. The mixing for the rock and metal bands was uniformly quite poor. The vocals were too low in the mix and the guitars were too loud for the tunes to be discernable.

To be fair a couple of the characters like Fran and Tammy can see that Irene despises all men (not some of them) and are able to go after what they want without being either doormats or embittered.

I liked "Daughters of Eve" and "Down a Dark Hall".

I hope he's okay.

Maybe next time the Republicans could pick someone who still is on speaking terms with their sanity?

I think the mildest, most milquetoast person in late night has to do it. That would send a message.

I doubt the veracity of the claim in your first sentence, sir.

With me it is music. I didn't start learning guitar until I was 16 so it wasn't really an option to study it at 18 at uni but now it is the thing I enjoy doing most and I would love to be able to do it full-time to see how far I could get with it.

How about the Daria and Wonderfalls themes?

Yeah it looks like a decent successor to Burn Notice ;-)

Having to work for a living.

That's total BS. I'm really sorry, I hate companies that do that kind of thing. It's not fair of them to waste your time.

I'll tell you what I'm not reading: half of these comments because Disqus won't show them to me :-(

I had a fair bit of low quality Rose wine on Sunday. It did a job ;-)

I always liked both Nancy and Avery.

He's not your friendo, pal!

I like "Farewell, my Pet" though. There's something sad about the whole Lorelai/Chris relationship and how something can feel safe and reassuring but ultimately be wrong.

I've been rewatching Rick and Morty S1. Last night I watched the episode where Rick installs interdimensional cable and Summer feels unwanted. Love the Morty/Summer conversation.

We can talk to each other and be as compassionate as possible but my hope for anyone with persistent anxiety/depression/mental health problems is that they go to a doctor.

I liked Sarah Dollard's episode but I don't know why we need another episode from the person responsible for "In the Forest of the Night".
