that's an astute observation.

good eye.

that was 100% regret. fury, anger, tinged with immediate regret. I know because I have a short temper and a sharp tongue and I know the feeling. I could see it cloud over his eyes.

yes, we know. nobody has forgotten about third eye blind, unfortunately.

tell it, Yakov

"say, anybody here watch those Olympics?"

I didn't think it was, either. it's symmetrical so it appears to be a duplex, but one side of the facade is the garage, and the other side is living quarters.
I think.

you should be doing that anyway. last season was a freaking masterpiece.

god, fuck right off.

yes! those moments immediately after the fall were so tense, and the masks helped convey that tension beautifully.

this show is only mildly affecting for me, and I've realized it's because I simply lack the capacity to feel sorry for Pete Holmes. just can't do it.

good name/comment symmetry.

I approve this comment.

that's exactly what I thought and feared when I saw the first episode was called Artie Lange. hopefully they don't go that route.

cindy has espoused perfectly acceptable, progressive viewpoints in other comments on this board. I don't think she's a deep agent. she seems to be of an older generation, and they, by and large, think all this stuff's full of shit. so be it.

Hear, hear.

Crow. Aniston.

I saw this yesterday. I enjoyed it, but it's hardly best-picture worthy. I'm beginning to understand that the reason this film is so highly reviewed is because most people saw it immediately after the election, when the trauma was fresh and emotions were running high.

obligatory "poor Martha"

I think the idea is that all of Hollywood is elite. the term isn't referring to the best of the best in movies; it's referring to the notion that in Hollywood, and in California in general, people look down on Trump supporters. they are elitists; it's a class thing.
