there should be a middle ground, though. I love Chelsea and have rewatched One of the Greats several times, and each time I wish there was a version of that special without those interludes. I get what she was doing, but man, it really messes with the flow.

how timely. after watching Alicia Florrick laugh at her college-aged son's suggestion that he write a memoir in Sunday night's The Good Wife, I started to wonder whether this book has held up to any scrutiny.

and one empty seat!

did you guys know his middle name is John?

probably a blogger. everybody is these days.

exactly. she was clearly in the midst of having a revelation. the revelation that the guy she's put up on a pedestal and obsessing over is actually a total flake.

including whether or not it's "proper" to have a party where you sign an old hebrew document.

in the age of social media the idea of a memoir is just ridiculous anyway. we already know everything about everything that happens to everyone. nobody cares.

I think I agree with you. I can't explain it, but every word out of Alicia's mouth makes my eyes roll now. she used to be such a compelling, genuine character. now, not so much.

who fucking cares, at this point. within the context of the show, and within the larger context of life. such slavish devotion to outdated and irrelevant religious traditions.

"you wanted it, you got it…Toyota…"

shut up, already.

I recognized it immediately. my dad and I still quote lines from that movie.

that's where I remembered her from! I knew she'd been in more than just Drunk History.

rift.

toe.

yes, this too! why in the hell would Diane recommend consulting Jason, a burn-out lawyer-turned-investigator with a checkered past, for assistance with that? she wouldn't.

I rolled my eyes so hard at that. the minute he said he had someone special in mind, I thought, there is no way this can believably be Jason. and I was right. un. believable.

Gina wanting to vent about her sister's Lyme disease and Bob not understanding that was hilarious to me.

no, the Ann Peebles song she sampled.
