or even read it in the first place?

ugh. I'm so sorry for you.

yeah, I don't find her a compelling character. the craziness is just too on the nose. calculated.

ahh, well done.

nah, I'm pretty sure he meant Bob Fosse.

boom. roasted.

how about losers like me, who just watched the series finale last night?

I just finished all seven seasons last night, so I'm reading this. anyway, one of the jokes I made to the person who introduced me to this show is that, whenever they go in to arrest a white person, that character is always listening to god-awful, noisy-as-shit, speed-metal crap.

hah! I just burned through all seven seasons in the past two weeks, and I thought the same thing after reading that particular comment. it's 2014 and Occupy Wall Street has come and gone. we are in a police state. people are presumed guilty, and the prison-industrial complex shows no signs of stopping.

I'm powering through all seven seasons right now. it is quite possibly the best-written show I've ever seen. I highly recommend you make the commitment, LadyWriterontheTV.

since apparently this is where the quotes are, could somebody, ANYBODY, please explain to me what Joan Cusack means by, "I never bet when I know I'm right." isn't the best time to bet on something when you know you're right??? someone please tell me what I'm missing. that line has bothered me for YEARS.

I absolutely love this movie, and I have no idea why. it's just zany, stupid fun, and any bad moments are outshone by Steve Martin's dumb/goofy performance.

just now catching up with this show and came here to post one insignificant thing. nothing against Rebecca Pidgeon, but I can't stand the fact that David Mamet has to cast his wife in every fucking thing he directs.

hear, hear. I can't believe this guy gets paid to write these.

SPOILERS for Ils to follow…

"Tommy's got his six-string in hock" - Bon Jovi, "Livin' On a Prayer"

you're going to be waiting a long time, because the phrase is "just desserts."

I just finished watching it - for the first time - today. I saw it referenced in so many other comment threads lately that I had to check it out and see what the fuss was about. I will say it's very hit or miss, but when it made me laugh, it made me laugh HARD. Wayans, Coupe, and Wilson are terrific, and even

me too!

you're their best-seller!
