I think the best bet for getting new Star Trek on TV would have to take place at Starfleet Academy (to cut down on production costs, since it wouldn't require as much space fights/shots/special effects, in general), and would probably also have to take place within the rebooted Abrams timeline (which annoys me, but

Myles, I'm sure it was as obvious to you as it was to me that the TA couldn't have been the killer—what TA has $10k lying around waiting to get paid to an assassin? No way.

Loved this episode though, as usual! Good development of Bell especially—I've been worried about him getting boxed into the Lestrade corner (decent

Hmm, thanks for saying anyone who reads this as a fandom-related episode is a CRRRAAAaaAAAAZZYYY fan.

Oh, haha, yeah, I forgot I had comments sorted with most recent at the top. Still, having now read every other comment, this is still my fav. :)

Wow, this was exactly my reaction to the episode too (and I'm really surprised this doesn't have more replies). It comes off so totally as an attack on fandom and shipping, which seems utterly bizarre to me for a show that is usually so kind and sweet to its fans. Maybe they were trying to poke fun at obsessive

Myles, I must say, as an avid TV watcher and a veteran of probably way too many procedurals, I was still somehow not at that place where recognizing the guest star in the episode told me "oh, that's the killer." After reading a few of your Elementary reviews, it seems obvious (and I have even been concerned it would

Yeah, I have friends who work in a web design office, and they have those floating shark balloon things and games and I'd bet money there are skateboards. They can even drink at the office off duty, like… it's a whole different corporate world.

typically with spoiler warnings you do several line breaks between "SPOILER" and then the actual spoiler. the point is so that the reader can realize what will come AFTER the line breaks and skip over all of it easily. the way you have it set up now this is impossible.

Sorry, I did just assume you meant Native American. I have tons of second-generation Indian friends (both Muslim and Hindu) and they all celebrate Thanksgiving. But you're right, maybe Cece just grew up not doing it. Like I'm well aware people in other countries don't celebrate Thanksgiving, thank you for pointing

LOVED this episode but my oooonly problem was Schmidt being iffy on kissing Winston. He's smacked a wet one on Nick before and adamantly wanted to see Nick's junk. I just assumed he's (maybe drunkenly) kissed Winston, too. Or at the least, I didn't think he'd have a problem doing it. Otherwise, man, yeah, they really
