It does seem a bit less crazy than flat-earthism. I stress that this is purely a relative measure and it's still crazy, but at least it acknowledges the earth as spherical.

I can see why they couldn't do a full remastering, but losing the source code/assets wouldn't preclude a simple re-release as a GOG download: just the original files with a tuned DOS emulator or similar wrapped around it to make it work.

Lisa: "What are you drawing?"
Nelson: "A robot with guns for arms shooting a plane made of guns that fires guns."
"But you got shot in the head. Like, directly. At point-blank range."
"Which is why I have to wear the eyepatch. I don't know what's so confusing about this."
Almost clicked on that one, then had a mental picture of what the comment section would look like and decided against. Sad to hear it was accurate.
Surprised they made that mistake, as "How many ghosts visited Scrooge?" is a common "trick" question in trivia quizzes.
"Guys, I thought of a tagline! 'Out here, the deadliest animal is man'"
"Steve, be realistic. It's set in Australia."
"Chicken Soup for the Woman's Soul?"
"My wife can do her own bargaining, Satan, and frankly you're as cheap as you are sexist"
The company was hastily renamed from "Chicken Soup for the Sole Entertainment", after the failure of their honestly-marketed, nutritious, but extremely boring theme park.

Look, if an elephant wants to go watch the Hungarian contortionists do their act, I think they should be allowed to.
WRONG LEVERRRRR…
Also saw it recently and wanted to like it, but though there are some nice performances and themes, it really feels like a confused mess (to the point where I was genuinely surprised it got released in that state). For about 75% of the film it's deeply unclear why things are happening, but you hope it'll all make…
Feels like it's shouldering its way into a crowded field (Churchills and George VIs and Dunkirks everywhere), but Oldman looks impressive and I'm happy to see Kristin Scott Thomas showing up.
A genie that will twist your words is one thing, but didn't Wishmaster pretty much go for "Well, you may have wished for a hot dog, but you didn't say 'a hot dog and not to be attacked by crocodiles, so…'"
Although fairly different from Star Trek teleportation, interestingly quantum teleportation doesn't have this issue: the original quantum state has to be destroyed as part of the process.
It's not instantaneous communication; to teleport a quantum state you have to also send classical information to the receiver, and so communication via quantum teleportation is limited by the speed of light like everything else.
I bet you hate all those times you think you've seen a really nice weather balloon and it turns out it's just another alien spacecraft.
