You can do quantum computing with entangled states, although it's a fairly different technical challenge: having large numbers of particles (probably very close together) entangled with each other in a very specific and controllable way. The technical achievement in the reported experiment is more about maintaining

You can quite easily have e.g. entangled atoms without needing any antimatter. And collapse of an entangled state has no particular relation to particle-antiparticle annihilation.

Imperial Stormtroopers are issued with special low-speed photons.

Quantum teleportation in brief:

Pretty much. Its quantum state (which is what is transferred) is destroyed in the Gobi particle as part of the process. The particle itself isn't.

It's not replication, but the transfer of a quantum state - one of the fundamental rules about quantum information is you can't copy an (arbitrary) quantum state. Not much like Star Trek teleportation, but cool.

An interesting related wormhole is that the Energiya launch vehicle that was used for Buran was first used for another Soviet project: Polyus, a prototype orbital laser weapon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…

Sorry, yes, that's what I meant (only women can message would be a bit of a conversation killer…). Just noting that being the one who has to initiate might suit some people's preferences, but isn't obviously the better position to be in.

Yeah, I can see it working for some, although I don't think it's nearly as simple as "only women can message"="more women-friendly".

ANY HOTTE LADIES WANT TO CHAT?

Likewise hadn't heard of the second one. Bumble seems quite well-known, but nothing like on the scale of OkCupid or Tinder or Match.com.

"And the majority of women still using them have migrated to newer, more woman-friendly dating apps like Bumble and Coffee Meets Bagel, which don’t allow random men to send them unwanted messages."

Better by what measure?

For reference there is discussion of the vinyl mastering being different here (which came up doing search on that thread): https://www.youtube.com/wat… (2:58 onwards)

Do you have a reference for this?

Any Enrico Palazzo?

My recollection is it became pretty much just a dance music thing, aimed at people who were actually DJing on turntables.
