So LOST season 6 will air 2/2/2010 at 9 p.m.

Huzzah!

HEY COOL!
I actually recognize, own, and listen to on a regular basis some of these bands and albums! I am not as woefully out-of-touch with popular music as I once thought! Sweet!

To be fair, the reviewer doesn't say STAR TREK is a bad movie. He/She points out one plot point that fell short (it confused me a little too but not enough to detract from the movie) but then ends by calling the movie "exciting." I loved the shit out of STAR TREK. It ranked alongside UP, FUNNY PEOPLE, DISTRICT 9,

Wow…
Well, even though the image of the classic XKCD strip "Someone is WRONG on the Internet" is flashing in front of my eyes, I am still going to comment. Because, although the argument is relatively reasonable, it is still, as Mr. Munroe taught us, wrong.

Well to be fair, Hat Guy, I think the reason the AVC writers choose to do television for the first week of Best-Of lists is because there is less to choose from. We hear about these shows a lot but that doesn't diminish the fact that they we are living in a golden age of television and some super solid stuff is out

I'm holding off on buying VENTURE BROS seasons until the entire series is packaged. Can't wait to see what kind of nifty it is.

Siiiiigh. I guess this means I have to buy the big FUTURAMA Bender head.

@Keith: Best first comment ever.

Yeah, I agree, MALCOLM got an undeservedly bad rap as time went on. Frankie Muniz was sometimes smart enough to play off his child-star status (as he did in his ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT cameo) but the rest of the time he (and Malcolm) came across as too smarmy.

Oh my… The grammar there leaves much to be desired…

Well, while I dig the shit out of ANGEL (especially seasons 2-4), it's constant retooling did detract a tad. And although "Smile Time" is a great episode, I have to say my favorite is the one where the most of it takes place when the crew goes on a crazy RAIDERS-esque quest to get a sword and Connor starts to like

Maybe its because you already met your Bryan Fuller quota when you included PUSHING DAISIES, but there were some eps in season one of DEAD LIKE ME that were fantastic. Granted, the season had its lags but the episode in which she met the slightly-schizophrenic boy was brilliant and more than a little moving.

SyFy would be gold.

RIP, Dollhouse. We had fun while it lasted.

If Father Jack
starts drunkenly shouting "GIRLS!" and "TITS!" V will improve tenfold in my opinion.

Sympathetic Sheldon?
Has the woobification begun?

The "blasting a lecture" was so sad.

Fire and Ice
The picture of the youngsters in their ice dancing costumes will keep the "MODERN FAMILY/ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT" comparisons rolling. Seriously, that thing looked way too much like the Mother-Boy shots.

Totally worth it, but boobs?
This movie was awesome. A nice endcap on a great show. One quick question that has nothing to do with the actual plot: the movie features scenes in which Cavil and Ellen are in some kind of nudie bar (which totally made sense for Ellen's character) and the show did not flinch at the
