That's Dorothy Malone, I believe.

I anticipate the show being bad enough to make a bishop kick in a stained glass window; ABC doesn't exactly scream "noir", or even shuffle through the same dark, dirty streets. That said, I was prepared to hate Elementary on CBS and I have been pleasantly surprised.

She knew what she was doing, you mark my words.

Cloris Leachman can play the old gypsy woman. She'll be the Nick Fury of this universe, recruiting all the monsters to fight Lovecraftian horrors. If the studio needs sexy scenes, her younger self can hang with Dracula in the Carpathians during flashbacks.

I would have preferred sequels to The Rocketeer, The Shadow, or maybe even The Phantom. Though as the good Colonel notes, the style of Sky Captain needs to be more popular.

I’ve got a raincoat and light-colored suit balled up in a corner of my closet, a dark green tie; some cigars, dog biscuits, notepad and pen, matches (which I will feign being unable to find), and some hard-worn shoes.

I know someone who uses Milk Duds instead of M&Ms, but yes, I join others in denouncing this depravity.

I suppose they didn't want to use the title, "Popcorn in the Cinema: A Triumph of the Will."
I'll show myself out.

Yes. No. Maybe, and in the case of some of its agents, definitely.

The story you are about to hear is a fib, but it's short.

I've been a guest in someone's home and chided them for texting during a movie we were watching in their living room. Oh, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy didn't make any sense? Maybe if you fucking paid attention… I'm a lot of fun.

Actually Bay does seem remarkably sensitive to criticism for a millionaire boom-monger.

Is it "Adventures in the Screen Trade" where William Goldman points out that a would-be screenwriter pretty much has to move to L.A., since everything the rest of the country sees and hears about has all ready been the talk of Tinseltown for months?

"Fat Bottomed Girls!"

I always wondered whether the British Security Service was just really good at their job, or if all the German spies sent to England were just really bad at theirs.  I mean, even as a child, the fact that MI5 claimed to have captured almost *every* German agent on the island sounded ridiculous.

Then of course there is The Belgian from The Brothers Bloom.

Personally I can't wait to discover what "diversions" Moriarty has found, or arranged, for herself.  Somehow I don't think it's painting, unless she's smuggling messages to her lieutenants through the canvas.

Or Marvin.

I have a Kel-Tec P3AT, which I purchased from a little old lady who only took it shooting on Sundays.  It's so very small.  I haven't had it long, so I've not had a chance to go shooting with it yet.

I found some Trivial Pursuit "Deluxe Playing Pieces" at a used bookstore.  They come in a neat case, with colorful enamel on the pie pieces and 14k gold plating.  I don't have a Trivial Pursuit board any longer, but I still have these pieces, just in case.
