I do have a crush on Nana Visitor, but alas I am not a genetic superman.  I'm pale with thick glasses, a few cousin marriages short of a tail, really.

I have a photograph of my sister holding my nephew, while her husband and their Swiss mountain dog look on beatifically.  I added it because my co-workers were getting the disgruntled loaner vibe from my part of the office.

So they're giving you the old "forced perspective", eh?

I have a recurring dream where I'm a spy trying to smuggle people across the Berlin Wall, and my superiors muck things up and I end up watching my agents and their families get shot.

I prefer Aaron Burr, but I've always been a fan of Golden Age crazy VPs.

Nah, we were worried about Cheney.  Not without cause, mind you.  He looks like Mr. Potter and sneers like the Penguin.

In our present reality? Very little.  But it was in 1947 that their nation was forbidden any traditional military, and from engaging in any international military actions.

Calls for a "remilitarization" have been growing of late, with some cause; the Japanese Constitution and the Self-Defense Force are stuck in the geopolitical climate of 1947.  It's discouraging, but not surprising.

I've got badges for 6, 2, and 1.  I cannot imagine wearing the "1" badge.

Also, Professor Harold Hill in space.
