I always cut the final jury member a little extra slack as far as pointless bitterness goes. I shouldn't, but I do. Even the players I don't care for. So, Malcolm's hypocrisy didn't bug me as much as Penner's petty bullshit or Jeff Kent's smugness did. If Malcolm had gone out much sooner then I'd be disappointed in

Abi's vote was really the only surprise for me. I had most of the rest of them (although I had RC going for Skupin instead of Lisa) but I just assumed that Abi's bitterness towards Lisa and hatred of Denise would force her to throw her vote to Skupin, regardless of how much of an idiot she thinks he is.

Unfortunately, most of the time the final tribal isn't going to be that important. It'll sway a vote here and there but most people know who they're voting for going in. I think those people voting for Denise were straight up voting for Denise. People have flipped votes after the final tribal, but most people are

@avclub-db0c35ce2663c0e8c4b3f38642a49748:disqus Totally. I think Malcolm was a little hurt by the bluntness of it because he was still disappointed at being voted out, but that was exactly the answer he was pushing for.

It wasn't Penner's finest moment, but aside from people here and those watching in my living room last night it seems like people enjoyed it.  It doesn't ruin Penner for me but it was a pretty lame move. It was also clearly done to smugly screw with Lisa and punish her in some way. If he wanted to out her he could

All she has to do is pick a nickname that even Phillip can properly pronounce and he'll probably think she's a totally new player.

Seriously, what a boring, disappointing group of people. Calling anyone but Malcolm a "favorite" is a big stretch. I had to work to even remember a couple of them.

I'm glad that the "fans" won't know who he is, but certainly the "favorites" will. Parvati (and others, but Parvati's the one I remember) totally had the inside scoop on Hantz. I'm sure that the others used their connections to get the story on the new guy so they could decide whether to use him or throw him away.

The worst part is that they were just kind of boring in their bitterness. Jeff Kent was determined to spin whatever answer Lisa gave into the answer he already had picked for her. Abi was predictable.

Yes, he voted for Denise but last night's votes are irrelevant to the
next move now that Penner is gone. Carter voted for Denise because he
was loyal to Penner and they couldn't vote for Lisa or Skupin because
they hoped to swing them. They couldn't vote for Malcolm because they
apparently didn't feel like dealing
