Carter has always seemed to be pretty devoted to Penner in his own Carter way. Even when Jeff Kent, who was presumably his closest alliance member at that time (if I'm remembering that the least bit accurately), was obsessed with Penner he never really seemed totally on board with it. I think as much as I believe

As much as I thoroughly enjoyed Penner's "DENISE!" as he voted I sort of wish they'd been a little less up front about who they were targeting so that they could try to flush out the idol. It was pretty clear Penner was going to go and aside from Lisa's wishy washiness there was really no chance that anybody was going

One of my favorite moments last night was when Abi and Penner were having their little "chat" at camp and you could see Carter and Denise having what was most likely a fake conversation to the side so they could avoid getting involved. It was the most lively and animated I've seen Carter the entire time he's been out

I don't really give Penner or any of the rest credit for not knowing how it was going to play out, but I do give them a little credit for basically not being able to do anything. I mean, without sharing their money is there any way you can stop someone who just bid the max before Probst even finished telling her what

I don't think so. In the times it's been part of the auction it seems that it's always been Probst whipping out the scroll.

Yeah, I'm disappointed that we now allow no sharing of food or money. If we're going to allow no sharing then we should allow no hoarding as well since it always annoys me when a player opts to hang on to money. Granted, that doesn't happen often, but it's irks me when it does.

Isn't Kate the manager of the bar? I think she's mentioned that at least once. The point still stands that she shouldn't be so at ease financially (and probably makes it even more confusing that she seems to have so much free time) but she's going to be making more than BJ. Otoh, BJ probably gets a lot of undeserved

Per Diane, he's a liberal. That doesn't mean he couldn't be inspired by Olson, but in the context of this show he is a famous liberal lawyer.

I understand what Eli was doing when he came to Alicia's office. It was a very Eli thing to do in theory but he didn't bother changing the argument at all. Instead of making Zach look reasonable, it could have just as easily made Zach look like he was reading from the Eli Gold script. Alicia is naturally suspicious of

Since Kalinda is a pretty beloved character I'm hoping that in fast tracking this whole thing something just got lost in the storytelling. I'm hoping that the implication will be that Kalinda didn't think Nick would hurt Cary. Or that she legitimately wasn't thinking when she played cutesy with Cary and, maybe, at the

The jealousy thread really confused me. It was obviously pretty clear that Kalinda was talking about Nick's jealousy when she and Will were at the bar. But, I'm unclear on how Kalinda actually feels about it. Or what part she is consciously playing in it. She seemed conflicted but why is she conflicted? This is one of
