You miss the point of the show. A true A+ episode would be all "shark jumping" all the time. This is the show's entire purpose (and appeal).
Even without all the foreshadowing it was still an important episode because it capped the entire Raider arc. It was a small arc, sure, but they've been working it over several episodes and it finally comes to a head with the carrier ship reveal (also the first we've ever seen a ship create it's own jump point).…
