Please don't tell me Cumberbatch actually beat McConaughey to the Lead Actor in a Miniseries award. That has blown my mind.

Wouldn't there have been actual joke if Vergara had been delivering the speech and the little man was on the revolving platform? It would have only been marginally funnier but at least it would have made the same point without simultaneously undermining the point being made.
"We can beat anti-semitism by making fun of Jews!"
I didn't know she was on MF, perhaps I'll have to check it out. I only caught a minute of it on TV once and it featured an old Al Bundy delivering exposition without beautiful naked women having sex foreground and background which, to be honest, really put me off.
I've never read AW before, but it's absolutely brilliant. (Link: http://arrestedwesteros.com…
I think for someone who stopped watching after Season 4, this last season would be unwatchable. It really isn't worth the time and I don't even think a die-hard fan would try and convince you otherwise. Find another show.
Sorry but I've had to report this comment for describing the first half of AOS as "good".
Hard to believe from that photo that there is only is only 10 years age difference between the two men. Has Frank been ill?
I stopped watching after episode 4 (a dull start to a season that apparently only got worse from there), so I do have a lingering question. Last time I checked Eric had Hep V, is he now cured? How did that happen?
What I like about Farage is that he is a real man of the people. I can just imagine having a pint with him down at the pub.
Did you ever sleep with Sheridan's wife on Z'Ha'Dum?
We will never forget Mr Morden. After Byron, you had the bounciest hair of any character (at least when you didn't have it greased back).
Yes, I'd love to know which conditioner he uses on his transcendent locks. It certainly is Head and Shoulders above hair belonging to the other members of the cast.
Yes, that stood out for me too. Thank you for reminding me of that one.
There is no excuses for unfunny humour. Not when the BBC have a perfectly serviceable ouija board and Douglas Adams ready and willing on the other side of the ether.
I switched it off after 20 minutes. Though the show has never really been for me, I think I would tune in if Arthur M. Gameological III played the part of Doctor Who.
I think we can all agree to disagree.
The finale of LOST meant the island should have been purgatory.
"Shows like The Wire and Battlestar Galactica seemed to argue that the system was often broken, and parts had to be ignored or destroyed in order for anything good to be salvaged."
To be fair, just saying the word "Germany" in a sitcom automatically gets a laugh from the British studio audience.
