Yes to In Bruges!  He's that special kind of smug in that where he's completely right, you kind of feel bad for him, but he's so supremely grating it's just off the charts.

Inglourious for me required a few rewatches.  What I initially thought was crowded and a bit muddled is actually, in my opinion, very tightly plotted and written.  I definitely agree he should get away from the more obvious homages to the cinema which influences him, I'm pretty sure that would be impossible to hide.
