I'm talking movie, haven't read the comic.  I can't remember how they addressed the post-fight comedown, if Abomination turned back into Tim Roth or if, since the procedure that turned him into it wasn't exactly controlled, he was doomed to forever be The Abomination.

Fair enough, thanks for the replies.  I forget, then: what caused the Abomination to turn into that?  Is his state permanent, vs. Banner's being triggered by anger / blood pressure rate, as that movie implied?

Random Nerd question: In the Ed Norton "Hulk" movie, how does he win that fight at the end?  Does whatever happened to Banner that makes him be the Hulk, would that happen to anyone else?  Does it take your current properties and raise it to whatever insane exponent?  If that's the case, wouldn't the guy with military

I like Mark Ruffalo, but he mostly excels in playing shaggy, half-blazed dudes, not world class scientists or whatever Banner is in the comics.

Ah, I've still never seen Ravenous.  It's one of those I forget about, but each time someone brings it up it's to praise it.  And I like Guy Pearce, I should see if it's streamable on netflix.

He's always Buck Compton from Band of Brothers to me, which is weird because he's a thoroughly decent person in that and a villain in almost everything he's done since.

I watched that this weekend, goodness that's a funny movie.

That is at once a true and riduclous sounding sentence.

Multiplicity is so stupid, but if there is ever a movie that I enjoy solely because I like the leads it is that one; 5 different Michael Keatons? Yes, yes indeed.

All The President's Cornish Game Hens

Fact: Mo'Nique has more Oscars than Albert Finney and Peter O'Toole.

There are few things more subjective than liking a song, but I think it's awesome.  I've had it on repeat all day today (it makes great cleaning music, if anyone was curious).

I understand that complaint about "Yoshimi".  A good part of my appreciation for that is I heard it every day in my high school drawing class for about a month, and it was just really great music to work to, so I definitely enjoy the leisurely pace of the album; which doesn't make it a well structured one.  My

Flaming Lips' "At War With The Mystics" really bummed me out when I listened to it.  It seemed like they took the best parts of Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi, namely the shimmering production and bubble-gum songwriting and just forgot to write actual songs and programmed that into a computer.  Most of the songs seemed

I revisited "Go" a couple of years ago, and was really pleased it held up in my opinion.  So much of the shit I liked in middle and high school is embarassing to me now, but I'm glad "Go" didn't fall in there; it's really well written and interesting with some great supporting turns (Fichtner, Olyphant, The Dane from

Some musicians just also act, and can be pretty good.  Maybe the confidence from being on stage just translates well, or they're multi-talented, but along with Yoakam I really enjoy Kris Kristofferson, Tom Waits and Mos Def, to name a few.

Peter Stormare just got moved up to "on call".

Fran Tarkenton?

No touching!
