Howditgetburned, while awesome, unfortunately overshadows what I think is the best line in the movie, and I can't believe it made the final cut of any movie, even one like this.

Still has good work to do, most likely. He literally can't stop doing remakes, though, which is unfortunate. Was Big Fish the last original idea, or Corpse Bride? Instead of lending his gothic aesthetic to material that matches it (sleepy hollow, sweeney todd, etc.), just freakin' come up with something.

Oh yeah, I hadn't made that connection, although that could be said for probably >50% of the book. Actually, now that I think of it, Lucien Antitois' being murdered by the AFR and his surreal return to his childhood as overly literate was one of my favorite passages in the book.
