Awesome, looking forward to this. I still listen to The Slow Wonder regularly.

Haven't heard much from this band but I'm looking forward to checking this album out. I really liked their cover of "Dreams" by The Cranberries from the deluxe version of Manners (thanks, Spotify).

What? People shoot themselves in TV shows/films all the time, or jump off bridges, or slit their wrists. Aren't those realistic depictions of suicide?

She was on the same side of the table as the Madrigal guys in the DEA meeting. I'm pretty sure she's with them.

I thought it was pretty clear that Lydia works for Madrigal and was the other "inside man" after Schuler. We see her in the meeting with the DEA.

I love that line because you can take it literally or figuratively. As in, Lydia's in hot water and she should "drink it" i.e. remain calm, accept the situation you're in and deal with it, like Mike does.

Um, because killing is wrong? If you don't get that, Torso, then there's no point trying to explain it.

Remember, Batman saved Reese's life. That would be enough for me to keep quiet.

What a senseless act. It's probably poor taste to quote The Dark Knight in reference to a real-world tragedy, but I guess some people DO just want to watch the world burn. Scary stuff.

Yeah, the bit about Bane being Ra's Al Ghul's kid is what tipped me off to the "Miranda Tate is actually Talia" twist.

I find Nolan's films to be rather humanist. His protagonists always struggle with their own nature and oftentimes it leads to their downfall (Leonard Shelby, Angier/Borden). Everyone talks about the construction and ingenuity of his narratives, and I enjoy that aspect of his films, but I always find myself connecting
