She was on the same side of the table as the Madrigal guys in the DEA meeting. I'm pretty sure she's with them.

I thought it was pretty clear that Lydia works for Madrigal and was the other "inside man" after Schuler. We see her in the meeting with the DEA.

I love that line because you can take it literally or figuratively. As in, Lydia's in hot water and she should "drink it" i.e. remain calm, accept the situation you're in and deal with it, like Mike does.

What a senseless act. It's probably poor taste to quote The Dark Knight in reference to a real-world tragedy, but I guess some people DO just want to watch the world burn. Scary stuff.

I find Nolan's films to be rather humanist. His protagonists always struggle with their own nature and oftentimes it leads to their downfall (Leonard Shelby, Angier/Borden).
