The consensus seemed to be that it was their worst album, but I enjoyed it more than Narrow Stairs.
Agreed. It's my favorite album of the year (that I've heard). I get that it's not as good as some of their previous releases, but I still love it. Especially after seeing From the Basement.
I know it's a cliche, but KOL was a grower…
Top Five:
Can someone please explain the appeal of the Bon Iver album? 'Cause I'm trying really hard not to use the "B" word.
The man sure knows how to hang dong.
I think Tobias hit the nail on the head regarding McQueen's directing style (i.e. "the camera's unblinking eye"). He was more interested in Brandon's behavior and less in the psychology behind it. You know, the "fly on the wall" approach. It may not be as emotional, but there is definitely something powerful about…
Fassbender's character engages in compulsive sex with (mostly) anonymous partners many times each day. His behavior adversely affects his life in a multitude of ways. The character is based on real people who actually exist. It's a real thing.

I always thought Homer said "I used to rock and roll every night and PART OF every day." You know, like he misunderstood the lyrics.
Yeah, that's too bad.
Oh, man. I love that Luncheonette receptionist girl. Come on, Krause, make some bad decisions like Nate used to.
The COD franchise is beyond tired at this point. However, I'd argue that the campaign is always worth playing through, if only for the ridiculous set pieces and the feeling of being in control of a $200 million dollar Hollywood blockbuster. I rented this from Redbox for $2.18 and finished it in 4.5 hours. Totally…
If you were the inventor of Cookiebook, you'd have invented Cookiebook.
I've also seen next week's episode and I definitely think it's the best of the season. I'm curious to hear what Sims thinks of it.
This song is the musical equivalent of the opening montage in Pixar's Up.
Was that the Wilhelm scream during the grocery store chase?
