"I thought Brian Bendis would be a good fit for X-Men because he’s talented in writing young characters, point-of-view characters, and ensemble work."
The last time I saw him do any stand up was right after The Blair Withc Project came out, because all five minutes were devoted to how much he and his wife hated that movie.
I would say the second season is solid.
I was hoping Bloodhound would be relaunched under the new 52. Treat him well, Dark Horse.
thecarsonmcullers : It could have been clearer, but I think Jor-El insistence that the Kryptonians are doomed stems from their genetic design.
Also, and this is a detail that I thought really paid off, he was literally doing what he was born to do. They mention Kal El's natural birth a couple of times, but it doesn't really register until Zod's monologue that all the other Kryptonians are ultimately lacking free will.
Caption: Ken Jeong comforts a jittery Dan Harmon.
I don't know if live action TV will ever have the budget for superheroes like the Fantastic Four. Superman/Superboy's been adapted five times, and they all struggled with the superhero portion of the show. A live action televised FF would probably resemble Father Knows Best more than any of the printed series.

The ex-porn stars are like Stefon. They follow a very rigid formula, but it delivers every time.
I'm paraphrasing but "slip it to Kalinda" is one of the dirtiest things I've ever heard in primetime.
I'm with you, Butler. Robert California was a great idea that went horribly wrong.
That reflection in the picture makes Augustine look like a Frank Quitely drawing.
Hader is amazing. Between the agent in "Paul" and the SNL short "Don' Go Runnin' Roun' to Re Mo," he has demonstrated a largely untapped talent as a badass.
"Relative integrity" is such a useful phrase regarding this movie. in the kingdom of the blind, and so forth.
The good people at HATE are hard at work on transporting Nextwave directly into your head.
That henchman was so great. I can only think of ONE OTHER time something like this has happened, and it was an issue of Firearm in the mid-90's, of all things.
Pontifex gave us what appears to be Dan Gibbons illustrating Ted Kord, meaning it's probably photoshop, but still very cool.
