That really is an iconic Vic Mackey moment, as everyone in this thread attests. Does he do it more than once, or is the moment just so integral to Vic that I feel like he does?

I read somewhere (can't cite it now, of course) that Clark Johnson had a hard time directing episode 3, which had the Strike Team in a comedic plot holding a basketball player hostage, because he had just directed the episode where Vic killed a cop.
ZMF needs to come out of pseudo-retirement for this feature.
Why do people insist on using these big high-concept ideas to anchor otherwise low-stakes stories? If you don't want to write about the end of the word, try it again WITHOUT the end of the world.
@Juan_Carlo:disqus Series 7 is framed as a reality tv show, so the shitty video quality actually worked for me. It's like watching a particularly fucked up episode of COPS.
An off-screen voice followed by "Thanks God" is one of the best jokes of all time. How many other jokes do you know that would work in the Bronze Age?
MAKE WAY FOR EL KABONG!
He had several near-breaks during the sketch; a split-second of a guffaw, then straight back to the swag.
"Tina’s father Mike, a billionaire member of the Group of Eleven, an exclusive cadre of wealthy men who obsess over gaining access to the even more exclusive Group of Six."
Hitman is pretty good, considering it was probably a "paycheck role" for every single person involved. Timothy Olyphant's interview on the Nerdist has a throwaway comment to that effect.
According to Fey in Bossypants, that episode marks when they stopped trying to court a wider audience and just make the show that made them laugh. Reubens' sickly prince represents the show, which is just too weird and unhealthy to live. Deep stuff.
I thought it was a young Arlo who found the falling Truth in episode 1.
So are they doing this as a 21 Jump Street-style adaptation? Because that's the probably the best case scenario.
If it's going to be a single film, I'm making peace with the fact that it will be very different from the series, and enjoy it as a different work. No sense getting hung up on length.
That's the twist!

1. Jon Lovitz is SO good in his small role in Southland Tales, I wish someone had pounced on that and given him an Insomnia-style part to follow it up. Bonus points to Richard Kelly for staging a scene where badass Lovitz terrifies a neurotic Dwayne Johnson.
