I guess I liked it because I happened to see it with some of my best friends on a night that was great for reasons unrelated to the movie. When I saw it again, my enjoyment did go down considerably. If I watch the third one, likely with the same friends, I'm going to have to be stoned.

I know it isn't popular in these parts, but I really enjoy The Hangover. I even like the sequel. But Jesus fucking Christ, I have no interest in seeing this. I already wasn't psyched to see the same story told a third time, but how could anyone possibly think what these movies need is more Ken Jeong? I like Jeong,

Well how about this? She's really funny, she's fucking hot, and the Ryan/Jenna "will they/won't they?" is much more interesting than anything going on at Ryan's office, in my opinion. I find his new love interest, whose name I honestly can't recall (not a good sign) grating. So yeah. I like Jenna.

This. You wouldn't know it from Tosh.0, but the guy is seriously funny. True Stories I Made Up, done well before that show ever existed, is one of my favorite comedy albums.

I don't like Ryan's new girlfriend, and I still don't like Kristen, so this episode was actually one of the weakest for me. The bit with the voodoo dolls and the callback to Jellybeans were great, though.
On a semi-related note, I miss Jenna. Fiona Gubelmann is a very underrated aspect of the show and the closest thing

FUCK YO MOMMA.

Yes, because heckling is something that's totally acceptable. -_- Really heroic stuff, interrupting a performer's act and dampening the experience of a bunch of people who paid to hear him.

All Hail West Texas was John's last true lo-fi album. Tallahassee was the transitional point between him essentially being a solo artist and the Mountain Goats becoming a fully formed band.

I've had the pleasure of seeing it performed live twice. You're right — no one else could make the song work, but because it's by John Darnielle, it's fucking beautiful.
