I really liked their podcast last season, and have no faith that they'll do anything good this season, cuz how often are they gonna call b.s. when something doesn't make sense or isn't up to standards?

I saw the Sand Snakes of my generation, destroyed by writing, bad acting and direction.

nope. they just skipped that part. more sloppy storytelling, like last season. none of this would be happening if GRRM were still alive…

"There does seem to be a CVS on 14th and 1st in NYC, so maybe don’t ask the people who work there any questions about this episode."… wtf kind of logic is this?

If you're talking about the guy in NJ in March, yes a vet set himself on fire outside a VA (outpatient) clinic, and whatever psychological pain led to that tragedy is, well, tragic. But, there's no need to hype that story with some image of fork-tailed government minions locking their doors to a burn victim and

GENDRY SIGHTING!… oh, wait. was that just Pod? dammit.

buy in large? haysticks?

This is the role, obviously, but the moment, down to the nanosecond, is when he completes his spin after delivering the first line of Let's Get It On at the climactic record release party.

Ezray. How do they not use Ezray?

I'm pretty sure that Semyon took out the rapist for Ray. In that flashback meeting Semyon was merely informing Ray of the result.

Nitpick note: if you have a line, you're not a "featured extra." The other Flasher who performs his duties silently is an extra. Speaking parts are "supporting roles." That said, if you have an extra large part that you can feature by making it speak, there's a leading role in your future somewhere…

Winterfell is always in the opening credits, regardless of whether any action takes place there. This week's scenes were at Moat Caillin, with the "welcome home"-type dialogue meaning "to the North" generally, not yet to Winterfell… I think.

Bastard Baby Murder, Sansa Slapping, and General Guckiness, I believe were the charges against him…

You see, you know how to *take* the oath, you just don't know how to *keep* the oath. And that's really the most important part of the oath: the keeping. Anybody can just take them.

The cartoon is incomplete… where's ole Mom and Uncle Dad boning by the body in the sept?

that link is to the washington post, not the wall street journal.

Not with Christmas per se, but I bracket the season with U2 — Angel of Harlem (It was a cold and wet November day, as we touched the ground at JFK…) and Counting Crows' — Long December (and there's reason to believe, this year will be better than the last…)

Has everyone gone insane? Back to the Future 2 is waaaaaaaay inferior to Ghostbusters 2. Everyone here has gone insane. Yes.

Was that Cartoon Space Jeebus in there?

Ferrell-Caray was way too drowned out. Put that shout out front mashup maker person!
