I'm usually pretty content with the talkier "checking up on everybody" episodes, but this one was ridiculous.  As far as I can tell everybody we checked up on said or did or said and did exactly what they did last week, or the week before, or both.

There is not a single thing wrong with your life that a good weekday afternoon viewing of The Edge won't fix… or cause.  One of the two.  Anyway, I've modeled my life after it.

I loved the William Goldman books the first time I read them, enough to have re-read them a couple times each, but with every subsequent reading, I find Goldman's personality a teeny bit more grating.

I feel like The Siege and Nobody's Fool are appropriately widely heralded as great less-heralded Bruce Willis (and/or Denzel Washington and Paul Newman) movies.
