"It has magnificent buttresses."

Temporary Blasphemous Ship-o-Meter

Thanks for solving that,  @avclub-749a8e6c231831ef7756db230b4359c8:disqus

Temporary (Tardy) Ship-o-Meter

Good point—my desire to be clever derailed my moral compass.  This won't happen again!

Temporary Ship-o-Meter

Anybody want to take up a collection to get some of that healing water from the Northern Water Tribe?

If you rewatch the scene, a wagon rolls by, adorned with a number of masks for sale.  The Blue Spirit mask is one of them.

No crewcut = Kittenplan fail.

@Feigenbaum, Firecest remains wrong yet hilarious in this context.

You're welcome. I just hope that my brazen arrogance drives the one true Ship-o-Meter out of hiding.

Top Knots
The scene where Iroh and Zuko remove their top knots is easily my favorite in the entire series.

The Avatar State

So…Monk Gyatso is Aunt Beru AND Uncle Owen?

SPOILERS
@ Nomar, I agree, but that may be because Sokka and Suki are the only ones we see who intentionally embark on a relationship, and they're the only ones whose romantic interactions are tracked throughout the series in a believable way.

@Chary, Mai goes to Raft, Zuko goes to Bromwell, but they still talk on the phone sometimes because he really looks up to her.
@Mercadier, I believe the ship is known as "Kataang." Once again, the lack of the SoM is hurting us all.

@Mercadier: Word.

It's more or less in line with Aang's journey. There are things he can gain from the spirit world, but in S2 he really has to buckle down and focus on bending. Bending doesn't work in the spirit world, so realistically, Aang doesn't have time to mess around with it.
