I just rewatched the youtube video of it and had to wipe away tears at the end.  It's really the perfect set up for the movie - will they or won't they - and so very loaded with (fake) history and emotional damage.  Good work.

Is there something you'd like to share with the rest of us, Amazing Larry????

Very insightful post…seriously good.  I do have to disagree with you about Peggy, though.  It was extremely difficult for her to move on from Don, but she *had* to do it for her own personal growth.  Don can't (or won't) grow, but Peggy can.  And now the interesting part is seeing her forced back into his orbit as a

"It might be you" is immediately where my mind went also, and now it won't leave my head for another 4 days.  I am really ambivalent about those early 80s yacht rock ballads.  I kind of hate them, but the are also kind of engrained in me b/c my mom used to listen to those songs in the car on KVIL - the Dallas adult

Me too!  This was in constant rotation on HBO back in the early 80s.  There were a few like this that I particularly remember, e.g., Midnight Madness, Romancing the Stone.  What else??

Curls were not a good look for her.  She didn't have your bone structure.

Grand Prairie is right smack dab in the middle of the DFW Metroplex.  I'm guessing they'll be hitting Lolla, and will probably add more midwest dates around then.

Here is the interview with Savage Steve Holland that broke the hearts of BOD and John Cusack fans all over the world.  Basically SSH seems great and Cusack sucks.

Has anybody read both this book and Janet Reitman's _Inside Scientology_ book?  I read the Reitman book…it wasn't quite as good as I'd hoped.  There was some pretty interesting/shocking stuff in there to be sure, but maybe I was hoping for even more dirt that she gave.  I'm wondering if this book is better, just a

I too was obsessed with Adam Ant in high school.  I graduated in 1997, so yeah, it wasn't cool to be me.  I found a used cassette tape of Strip at Half Price Books and played the crap out of that thing.  And my obsession started pre-Wonderful.  Wonderful was just the icing on the cake.  It's been really sad to watch

This was so great.  Pretty much made my day!

Your "laziness" assessment is spot on.  I often find myself agreeing with him and laughing at him, but his insight and comedy just completely fall flat.  For example, making a 7-11 joke about Bobby Jindal.  Really?
