The book about the accident, "Special Effects: Disaster at Twilight Zone", is pretty harrowing stuff.

I dunno … dismiss "Titanic" as Oscar-bait if you must, but I'd say starring in the most financially successful movie of all time was the very definition of good sense in picking a project.

The first episode of the season to really drop the Ball
As a Six Feet Under veteran, I always dreaded the Alan Ball-written episodes. They were the most leaden, most obviously contrived episodes, with the lamest attempts at humor, endless "dream" sequences you could spot a hundred miles away, and the most pedantic,

I often wonder how the AV Club chooses which bands to review. Of the 7 albums they reviewed this week, I've only heard of 2 of those bands (Dinosaur Jr and The Mars Volta).
