You're looking too hard at the specifics. It's about how "causes" (or anything substantial) can so easily become a commodity stripped of all meaning. Despite Parker and Stone's ostensible libertarianism, the critique isn't so far from something somebody like Slavoj Zizek would write, and the satire isn't a world away
