The guy who forgot to... um

Their first fight was where the episode took off for me.  Even though "Two" inevitably (given its time and medium) settles into a love story, this is a real fight between traumatized warriors here, not a play fight between prospective lovers.

Canned chicken still on the bone, no less.

I would say that "The Arrival" does have a fantasy element, even if you can't put your finger on exactly what it is.  Sheckly actually climbs onto the airplane, despite the fact that it isn't there.  The hallucination takes on physical reality, at least in terms of a man being able to interact with it.

Yeah, I associate him with M7 too.  He was ALMOST good enough to make up for the director doing almost nothing with James Coburn.

I like to think that Schicklegruber's wishes would explode back on him in spectacular fashion.  Hell, maybe they did.

I love the genie and Mulder's interaction with her.  His final wish shows why he's the hero, as aggravating a hero as he often is.

One nitpick: Why did it take everybody so long to figure out Jamm set up the emergency drill?  The man's evil, but it's a predictable kind of evil.  I saw his greasy fingerprints on this one right away.

Yes yes yes.  For the first few minutes I was afraid we wouldn't get any Swanson this week.  Turns out the quality makes up for the quantity.

Yeah, Go On seems to have fallen to earth, so NBC isn't working with a really deep bench.

A "lifelong convict"?  They're writing Bane into the show?

The "with a Valium from the bride" is a wonderful detail too.

His wife must have gotten custody of all the others.  Her lawyer is that good.

To Ed Helms' credit, he understands the direction to depict Andy Bernard as the King of All Douches, and brings a certain enthusiasm to the project.

"Fight Club" isn't a great episode but there are things I enjoy about it.  I'm wondering right now if it will be worthwhile to bring my weak defense to what will undoubtedly be an epic pileup next week.

'Specially the giant cold viruses that wriggle out of your throat.

Since Anderson never wrote or directed anything after this, she might well agree with you.

New vocalist seems to be doing a Mira Aroyo of Ladytron thing.  Anyway, I find Fol Chen to be a fun band in general, and I think they should put "Like Prince if Prince stopped giving a fuck" on some t-shirts.
