Olbermann didn't really develop his bombastic "How dare you, sir!" persona until later. Plus, I think having Dan be like that would have been a little too much in the context of the show. It is one of those crazy things, though.

Yeah I think that despite the way he torpedoes himself in the long arc of the show (hope that's vague enough not to be a spoiler) Gordon is pretty evenly matched with the main characters.

Oh yeah, that HLOTS episode was a pretty memorable one, whith the pre-Goren Vincent D'Onofrio facing off with Pembleton. I had never really thought about the parallels between this episode and that one, but it stands out to me now.

JJ Abrams' shows tend to handle this a little better. On Lost and Fringe the retools are more organic to the world of the story, and they widen the frame instead of narrowing it. Of course the huge writing staff turnovers in Millennium didn't help in this regard.

Isaac may have never really thought about the moral ramifications of sport hunting. He may never think about it again. But he knows that this young man…

Nah, Malina nails it. It's just that Guillaume nails his better.

That picture proves it all.
