I think it's possible for this to happen in regular challenges in the future as well, like if there was an entire alliance vs. one outsider for individual immunity (like S12 Casaya vs. Terry if he didn't have an idol). The entire tribe could drop their things and work on the puzzle with whoever is in the lead (or…
I was in the same boat here, especially after the Ciera's confessional that was something like "I'm definitely safe tonight" or "I've got all the power right now."
I took Aras' comment as he considered himself closer to Gervase. He expected Tyson to betray him at some point (probably also why he wasn't anywhere in Tina's final 6 from a few episodes ago), but Gervase was the guaranteed number he thought he had, thus Gervase was the betrayal while Tyson was just something he…
Only reason Caleb's worked was because all he needed to switch were the two girls with no other options, not three members of an seven-person majority alliance. Caleb was the one taking the risk there, rather than asking others to take it.
This season seems to have a few of these. There's also the Ep 3 wrestling challenge where they made it seem like Aras won despite Vytas' cheap shot, when really Vytas won that battle and Aras won the other two.
Yeah the cheering for Brad seemed like something they were for at the beginning (they like Monica and don't want to see her broken up over her husband leaving, plus they clearly don't care much for Candice and John) but then changed their mind after they had time to think about it.
My main concern with his move was that I didn't think it was that necessary. Would it be the worst thing if Brad re-entered the game? They'd have to cut him eventually due to his ties with Monica, but he's the most likely one on RI to join the returnees tribe at the merge. And sending someone to RI due to their…
I think Aras' edit is still pretty solid. He was shown to be aware of the impression his moves were making on people, so I'm thinking his alliance will likely stay in control for a while until he could make his power moves at the end. Here are my edit rankings:
1. Vytas
2. Aras
3. Ciera (it seems unlikely especially…
The editing wouldn't be half-bad if it weren't for the commercial previews giving everything away.
And the fact that they chose each other to be on that tribe (and not something producer-manufactured) makes it even more amazing!
Is there any evidence to this? I thought it was pretty much known that Hantz replaced Shane Powers at the last second in HvV. (also, your theory would have meant there would be six men on the heroes tribe)
By her words at the end it seemed that she had no idea she was going, so no reason to scramble and swear off her uncle so early, especially if she might later on get the opportunity to say she could bring him over to their side.
If we include "Uncle Joey", then we can't forget "Aunt Phoebe" and her triplets that she had for her brother and her brother's former teacher.
To me there were two major changes with Ross as the series progressed. The first is his change from the kind of pathetic sad mopey guy to the patheticness that he had from Season 4 or 5 on. This change could be seen as a good thing because it made him a bit more interesting and got some funnier jokes/storylines than…
They're probably hoping loved ones will be forced to fight each other to the death. Or they want players still in the game to carry grudges against those who eliminated their loved ones. Although if Rupert sees his wife eliminated he might just rip her opponent in half on the spot.
Yeah, when they're spoken to it's about 2/3 questions and 1/3 rambling about why the jury loves/hates them. There's also a good amount edited out to fit the time. For all we know, every juror could have stood up and told Sherri how useless she was, putting more momentum into her meltdown with Erik.
It might have been best for Sherri to go with the bros for just this vote and knock off Andrea, then swing back to the Favorites to finish knocking the bro's out. She wouldn't be punished for her betrayal because there are still three opposing immunity threats, and she knocks off one of the biggest threats who…
Yeah I agree. Seems nearly every major plot for the past two seasons has been resolved with "the power of friendship" over these evil mustache-twirling villains like Jamm or Feinstein. I miss the days when the townspeople were more incompetent than soulless.
I'm gonna try to explain that subplot today to a friend who gave up on this show years ago…
"Stanley refused to go on a sales pitch because he didn't want to walk down the stairs. Dwight needed him to go, so he shot him with three bull tranquilizers. He enlisted Clark Duke's help, and they dragged him downstairs,…
