I was watching Borat with my roommate for the first time…he got a phone call from his girlfriend and had to step out of the room for a minute. Then the hotel scene happened. I almost died laughing and he missed the whole thing. The moral: Girls ruin everything.

I pretty much completely agree. I mean I thought the Foos were decent; they had all the right ingredients, they just lacked that unquantifiable rawness.

I wish I could be everywhere people are doing awt.

You must have been a mature kid. I ate that stuff up.

I wonder how dependent on the listener's age this question is. Is anyone unbiased? When I was listening to Nirvana I was very angsty and could relate to the sonic bludgeoning Nirvana was dealing in. Emotionally it struck a chord; Foos showed up too late for that to be the case for me.

I remember hating this album when it first came out. I have since come around to decide that it's good. I like the Foo Fighters in a completely musically platonic way— I've seen them twice live, always liked Dave Grohl. Yes, they do shiny hard rock, but even so, you gotta respect how tight Wasting Light sounds, being

Scrawler (I don't know how to link a profile; whatevs) — I don't think Jane deserved to die. But we built a relationship w/ Jesse and we had his back, the same way we had Walt's back for a while. I think we were protective of him; moreover, Jane came off like a barrier keeping the best tension in the show— the dynamic

It's bizarre to cling to this little nugget of humanity as evidence of "good." Not saying you're wrong because I kind of feel the same way. I suppose it's testament to the writing that a viewer is willing to stretch his sympathy/empathy so thinly to try and pull Walt back into the fold of humanity.

Yeah, agreed. There was at least a practical element to Jane's death, even if it was sort of horrific. W/ Mike, he was just pissed off.

I'm starting to think Walt's just going to up and tell Jesse all the crap he's done to him as either some sort of twisted, last ditch "I've been looking out for you this WHOLE TIME!" speech, or simply as salt in the wound.

I don't think Walt's going to want to get spotted driving Mike's car into the city w/ the DEA looking for Mike.
