So then was that delay/pause before the impact slow motion, or … ?

I thought exactly the same thing about the truck.  Even if the driver couldn't hear the gunshots, you have to be pretty intensely focused on your texts or latte to not notice a car spin out in front of you.

It's been a long time since a show had me so enthralled.  That scene with Lydia being stabbed literally had me on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding.  Same goes for that car crash, though that may have been residual from the earlier scene.

The nice touch was in the edits—you'd think it'd be a minor hurdle to have playback of the song on set when filming a "dance" scene that you know will be overdubbed later anyway, so that those seventh-grade little shits can wave their arms at a consistent friggin' tempo, but I guess it really isn't.

Bonus meta points if he's somewhat dressed like Max Bialystock.

I'm pretty sure that's what that was, yeah.

Why are we analyzing the "science" of zombology?  It doesn't work.  Every week I get into a discussion about that with friends, and then we remember it can't be figured out.  Assuming the Romero Rules are in play is one thing, but trying to figure out anything on our own is foolish.  Better to wait until it's laid out

@avclub-ef062084a1c4a3584af1d4f8e514ea50:disqus  I'm now wondering how Billy Zane would fare as part of the group.  Not as an actor, I mean Billy Zane as himself, part of the group.

They think he's young Cary Elwes in "The Princess Bride."

No, it's still funny.

I hope, one day, you meet your person-in-a-glue-suit.

Smokin' Aces says hello.

Whoa!  I just got 82.8'd!

The only reservation I had about this show when I first heard about it was the fact that it was going to be based on a musical about Marilyn.  Now, that's all I care about, aside from a couple interesting character relationships (Derek and Eileen's relationship is my favorite, which in retrospect I guess says

I really don't think we've seen any given Leo in more than an episode at a time.  Per the pilot, I seriously thought he was just going to be a placeholder to round out Julia's character.  But they've successfully made him more out-of-place than Carl in "The Walking Dead," so good job, I suppose, if that's what they

Jack reminded me of Natalie Portman in "V for Vendetta" somehow, though I've never seen it.  (I guess it must just be a bald woman thing.)  I also inadvertently got my character into the romantic talks with her, just by being chatty apparently.  I was kind of surprised… in conversations, it seemed almost all of the

You guys are pretending this isn't Hollywood and they're not using MacBooks running Final Draft?

I'm pretty sure last we heard he was okay but recuperating.

My thoughts exactly.  I wonder if they were trying to distill matters to pave the way for Liu's exit (which disappoints me, since the Cooper/Tang partnership has become my favorite), or if they're just making the department look nobler, be it intentional or as a result of clunky writing.

Infuckindeed.  'Fraid Urrong.
