I just caught up on it in a marathon that I DVRed and watched over the last few weeks. It's such a great little show and I'm glad you're covering it here without making fun of the "teen" aspects of it. I'm excited to read more recaps as the show airs.

One of the reasons I like the X Factor (UK version mostly) is the judges are expected to know a lot of about music, because they pick the songs. At least I hope this is true. I would really like to think Cheryl Cole knew who Shakespeare's Sister is.

Fox could show reruns of the The New Girl after 1 hour Idol episodes and I would watch them with more enthusiasm than I do these endless two-hour episodes.

I think the Christmas episode, until the religious part I deny existed, was so WEIRD, and definitely magnificent in it's awfulness! Plus Kurt and Blaine's house was fabulous. It was more watchable than last night's I think. I did really like all the Kurt singing, though.

Yes I thought the same thing. His house looks so much like the first Chez Draper that I thought they reused the set pieces. I am totally ok with Pete becoming the new Don. Plus Trudy is the coolest, spouting her weird pieces of wisdom every time she shows up.
