nice concise review.
If Brock wasn't in the picture, I think wwe could've done a lot with a 3 way feud between The Shield, every one of these ppvs could be used to give individual members some kind of power base: KotR, MitB, ect…. where they continually have to face each other, but feel compelled to protect one another

that's Bookie-Book mam.

"Mirkin, who went on to direct Romy And Michele’s High School Reunion."
Ouch, that's gotta hoyt.

He could look to old biblical epics for a template. Sandman isn't about physical action at all really, but inner spiritual/moral quests. Pack this thing w/ over the top trippy visuals and link it to the Big Questions, and it could become The Wall for today's generation.

I just don't see the need to give characters redemption. Lots of people go through life and die being selfish assholes. If Martin does, so be it.
I do hope Oooo doesn't end in a cataclysm. Let it say goodbye on a positive note when it comes.

He should mail her a nice hand written letter to apologize.

stupid stupid heel turn BS. NOT IN MY NERD DOJO (imagination)!

I didn't know that is what did them in. They were great tho, huge toy sections. Did you have Gold Circle as well?

Who remembers MASH action figures and play sets?
Talk about weird merchandising. I guess it isn't any weirder that the Breaking Bad toys today, but both just feel really strange to me, like something from an alternate universe where there's no happiness and this is as close they ever got.

I remember being so excited about this show before it aired. I was a kid at a post-MASH tour feat' William Christopher, the spinoff hadn't been announced yet, but it was all anyone was asking about.
Sadder yet, the meet/greet was at a HILLS department store (sort of a low-rent Wal-Mart of its day in upstate NY). They

I used to print out favs and hang them anonymously around my high school.

exactly.

It was pretty great all the way though. Good think about an 'boutique' comic from that era, it didn't have to have an agenda, just do what the creators want. Solid stuff in every issue.

Ed Luce's comic is absolutely adorable.
If you like Love & Rockets or Scott Pilgrim type stories, Pick This Up!

Was that the one which was all the books from the series? I have one of those. If there's sequel I have to know!

Teddy's twin brother who is also a handyman. Who is also names Teddy.

I really want to see some WCW gimmicks come back: Halloween Havoc, Starcade, Great American Bash, Superbrawl, even Slamboree.
It seems like they want to build these Nu-PPVs around title changes, which I think it'll be pretty easy to do.

Last I heard it blew up into something else, they'd arbitrated down to a lawyer being the only point of contact between her and the rest of the staff, and then that guy quit because of issues. I don't know where it went after that.
So f-ed up. There's part of me still thinks she's getting railroaded by Men In Charge

Holy cow, adding NXT! I don't get to watch it, so they'll be good resource.

Probably already said below: Why does a nationally successful company need to use Kickstarter to fund itself?
