It's a big assumption to think Radiohead is known around the world. "Creep" is known around the world. That's it.

Radiohead's famous to the types of people who read the AV Club. I'm saying that if you have a drop of blue in your collar, you don't give a shit about Radiohead. They're not Zeppelin or Nirvana, guys, they're a one-hit wonder alt band.
I think you're overstating "world famous".
I love Radiohead, but I could not give less of a shit about Thom Yorke's solo work.
No one knows what it means, but we all know it's bad.
Smith draws a ton of controversy (eyeballs) all year. Simmons draws a moderate amount of controversy (eyeballs) during basketball season. Suspending Simmons for a long period during his less fallow period does not affect ESPN's bottom line as much as giving Smith a realistic punishment.
When you're more annoyed by the thought that a shooting might have led to the creation of a new twitter hashtag than the actual reason for the shooting, I don't think you're particularly concerned about logic.
Dumbledore was a total SJW.
And I'm saying no one cares about your dating preferences.
Then what is your complaint? And why are you typing it in this comment section if it doesn't apply to the AV Club?
"Fuck off", I guess.
This is an entertainment website. A lot of entertainers are out of touch white people. Bemoaning the site's lack of thought-provoking essays by heroes in the third world is stupid.
That's totally fine. At least you're not coming up with a million bullshit excuses as to why she's ruining modern pop culture.
Everyone hated New Yorkers back when you were growing up too.
Yeah, and it ties into this weird modern belief that no actor can be taken seriously unless they completely pull themselves up by their bootstraps. There's a reason why Robert Downey Jr. has that suffix, and yet I don't hear the cries of "NEPOTISM" whenever there's a newswire about some cool geeky thing he did.
I don't really get your point here.
Were your favorite characters on Seinfeld Jerry's girlfriends, by any chance?
Since her show's version of New York is full of vapid annoying assholes, I don't expect her to take a particularly nuanced look at the middle 46. As long as its not Seth Macfarlane-esque lowest common denominator insults, though, I'm sure it'll be funny.
Go find one of those and watch or read it instead of complaining about this then. It's pretty simple.
I think you might have some issues separate from Lena Dunham.
